Tail dock  or  Undock:  Many reason why Wheaten’s have their tail’s dock is to maintain the Breed Standard  ( the look). We are used to seeing the Wheaten look a certain way with a dock tail. Wheaten’s can look funny with a tail and that is just because we are not use to seeing them with a tail. Tail docking is Harmless Cosmetic procedure to some it can be Animal Cruelty.

AKC American Kennel Club meet the Breed Standard
Neck, Topline, Body Neck medium in length, clean and strong, not throaty. Carried proudly, it gradually widens, blending smoothly into the body. Back strong and level. Body compact; relatively short coupled. Chest is deep. Ribs are well sprung but without roundness.

Whether docked or natural, the tail is to be carried upright 90* from the back, either straight or with a slight Tail is set on high. Docked tail preferred curve forward.  Any deviation from this ideal is to be penalized accordingly. Wheaten’s now have been accepted into the show ring with a tail. Yes I agree that they look nice in the ring with a dock tail but if you are not going to show your puppy why not leave the tail ??????

Contract:

- Puppies go to there new homes at 8 weeks.
- The puppy you purchase is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase.
- The puppy will be current on Vaccinations, de-worming at the time of purchase.
- The buyer has 48 hours from the time of purchase to take the puppy to the vet to confirm health.
- If the puppy is said to be unhealthy, puppy will be returned during the 48 hour period to the seller
  after confirmed to be unhealthy by a veterinarian.
- The owner has the right to an exchange of puppy from next litter.
- All puppies are guaranteed against any genetic disease for one year.
